This thriving skills hub in the centre of Nottingham needed a new-look to match its future aspirations. We refurbished the outdated reception area to create a warm and welcoming focal point for visitors, and built two new meeting rooms, creating more usable space within the existing footprint of the building.

The work included the strip-out and preparation of existing ceilings, partitions, floor finishes, lighting, and small power installations, as well as the installation of new reception and tea point areas, fitted with new cabinetry, integrated appliances and desks.

The new meeting rooms were formed with a mix of solid and glazed partitions, complete with acoustic insulation and reinforced walls able to support TVs.

The flooring was upgraded throughout with new vinyl finishes, carpet tiles in meeting rooms, and barrier matting at the entrance.

Air-conditioning and plumbing were adjusted to suit the new layout, with new water feeds, drainage, and a water heater.

The result is a high-quality office environment that balances functionality with modern design. The addition of the two new meeting rooms has increased flexibility for collaboration, while the updated reception and breakout areas provide a more professional and welcoming space.
